Chino Hills State Park
Chino Hills State Park is located in Chino Hills. This park has over 10,000 acres of land and is full of hiking trails, picnic areas, and horseback riding areas. One of the most popular activities that people do at this state park is hiking. There are many trails that range from easy to moderate in difficulty. There are also some trails that are more difficult because they go up steep hillsides or have very rocky surfaces.
The other major activity at Chino Hills State Park is horseback riding. There are several different trails that you can take your horse on, depending on how well trained it is and how much experience you have riding horses.
Lake Perris State Recreation Area
Lake Perris is one of Southern California’s most popular destinations, with over 2 million visitors each year. It’s located just an hour outside of Upland, which makes it the perfect place to go when you want to leave town without going too far away. With over 3,000 acres of land and over 70 miles of trails that lead through pine forests and rolling hillsides, there’s plenty to do at this state park!
If you’re looking for something more active than just hiking around the lake, try renting a boat from the marina or taking out one of their paddleboards or kayaks on the water. You can also take advantage of their many picnic areas with tables and BBQ pits so you can enjoy lunch while enjoying views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Malibu Creek State Park
Malibu Creek State Park is one of the best places to visit if you’re looking for a fun and exciting day of activities. The park has everything from hiking trails to mountain biking trails, horseback riding, and even rock climbing.
Malibu Creek State Park is located in the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu, CA. The park is open daily from 8:00 am – sunset and offers camping sites with hookups, cabins, and tent camping areas, as well as picnic tables, fire rings, and restrooms. The park features over 15 miles of hiking trails that wind through oak woodlands and chaparral grasslands.
Ultimately, we believe that there is plenty to do during the sunny season in this area. From our experiences, we genuinely feel that each one of these options is worth visiting at least once.
