Ford Bronco Trim Level Guide: Every 2026 Trim Explained for Upland Drivers

Picking a Bronco® means picking a trim before you pick a color, and the 2026 lineup gives you seven of them. Sorting out what separates them takes about five minutes, and this guide covers it all.
The 2026 Ford Bronco lineup offers seven trims: Base, Big Bend®, Outer Banks®, Badlands®, Heritage Edition, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor®. Starting MSRP ranges from $42,790 to $82,985, with an estimated 300 to 418 horsepower and 4×4 standard on every trim.
At Ford of Upland, our team walks Inland Empire drivers through these trims every week, from Upland and Ontario to Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair, and Pomona. Below, we cover what each trim includes, what the big option packages add, and which one matches how you really drive.
Key Points: Ford Bronco Trims Near Upland, CA
- The Big Bend is the smartest value in the lineup. It starts roughly $1,000 above the Base and unlocks packages the Base cannot get, including comfort tech and off-road hardware.
- The Badlands is where the Bronco turns into a genuine trail rig. A locking rear differential, steel bash plates, and seven drive modes instead of six all come standard.
- You can compare trims side by side in Upland. We stock Broncos across the ladder, and if the build you want is not on our lot, we can place a custom factory order.

A few things here surprise people. The Sasquatch® package cannot always be added on its own: on the Big Bend it requires the Black Diamond package first, so that route to 35-inch tires costs more than it looks. Black Diamond, once a trim of its own, now survives as that Big Bend package, which catches out shoppers hunting for it as a trim. If you want 35-inch tires without stacking options, the Heritage Edition includes Sasquatch in its starting price.
What the Sasquatch Package and G.O.A.T. Modes Actually Do
A trim level is a factory configuration of the same vehicle that changes equipment, capability, and price. Two Bronco terms come up on almost every one.
G.O.A.T. Modes® are drive settings that adjust throttle response, traction control, and the 4×4 system for a given surface, from sand to mud to rock. The name stands for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain, and most trims offer six.
The Sasquatch package is a factory off-road upgrade that adds 35-inch tires on 17-inch wheels, electronic locking axles, and high-clearance suspension with Bilstein dampers. It comes standard on the Heritage and Stroppe editions and can be added to most other trims.
Bronco Base and Big Bend: Where the Lineup Starts
The 2026 Bronco Base starts at $42,790 and is the only trim besides the Badlands offered as a two-door. It runs the 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder with an estimated 300 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic.
The Bronco Big Bend starts at $43,785 and is the trim we point most first-time buyers toward. That small step adds 17-inch alloy wheels with 32-inch all-terrain tires and opens up three packages the Base cannot take: the Mid package, the Black Diamond package with rock rails and a locking rear differential, and the Free Wheeling package with 1970s reflective stripes. The Mid package adds heated front seats and Ford Co-Pilot360®, a suite of driver-assist features that includes blind-spot monitoring and lane keeping. For about $1,000 more than the Base, the Big Bend gives you far more room to build.
Bronco Outer Banks: Built for the 10 and the 210
The Bronco Outer Banks starts at $50,680 and is the trim for drivers logging real freeway miles. Upland commuters average about 30 minutes each way, and this is where the Bronco gets comfortable enough to enjoy it.
The Outer Banks comes only as a four-door with the 10-speed automatic, and it is the first trim offering the available 2.7L EcoBoost V6, rated at an estimated 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque on premium fuel. That torque earns its keep on grades like the Cajon Pass. The Lux package adds a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio. New for 2026, the 60th Anniversary package marks six decades since the first Bronco arrived in 1966, adding a unique grille, steel front bumper, leather seats with cashmere inserts, and Sasquatch hardware.
Bronco Badlands: Real Trail Hardware From the Factory
The Bronco Badlands starts at $51,380 and is built for drivers who actually use Lytle Creek, Cleghorn Ridge, and the Holcomb Valley trails above Big Bear. Very little needs adding after purchase. The available 2.7L V6 carries over here as well, though it requires the four-door body.
Standard equipment on the Badlands includes an advanced 4×4 system, an electronic locking rear differential, steel bash plates, upgraded off-road suspension, 17-inch wheels with 33-inch tires, and prewired auxiliary switches. It also gets a seventh G.O.A.T. Mode the other mid-tier trims do not have. Add Sasquatch and you gain a front sway bar disconnect, which lets the suspension flex further over rock. The Badlands is the one to buy if you spend real weekends on dirt.
Bronco Heritage Edition: Retro Looks With Sasquatch Hardware
The Bronco Heritage Edition starts at $54,115 and is essentially a loaded Big Bend wearing a 1966 tribute. The white hardtop and grille, retro graphics, plaid cloth upholstery, and unique 17-inch wheels do the styling work.
Underneath, the Heritage Edition is more capable than it looks. The Sasquatch and Mid packages are both standard, which means 35-inch tires, locking axles, and heated front seats are already included.
Bronco Stroppe Edition and Bronco Raptor: The Top of the Lineup
The Bronco Stroppe Edition starts at $71,990 and honors Baja racer Bill Stroppe with a single livery-style paint scheme, vinyl seats with orange stitching, and a heavy-duty modular front bumper. It arrives with the Sasquatch and Lux packages fitted, plus the front sway bar disconnect.
The Bronco Raptor starts at $82,985 and sits alone at the top. It runs a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 making an estimated 418 horsepower, rides on 37-inch tires over a wider track, and uses Fox 3.1 Live Valve internal-bypass shocks tuned for open desert. The Raptor arrives desert-ready without a single option box checked.
